Expedition Insights: Exploring the Small Mammals of Sabal and Simunjan

FAAK Lab members at the Scientific Expedition Seminar for Sabal and Simunjan Forest Reserves.

FAAK Lab participated in the Scientific Expedition Seminar for Hutan Simpan Sabal and Hutan Simpan Simunjan, where expedition findings were presented to researchers, government agencies and stakeholders.


Two research presentations were delivered by FAAK Lab members:

🦇 Victor Lee Sien"Bats and Small Mammals of Simunjan Forest Reserve"

🦇 Asfa Hanis"Bats and Small Mammals of Sabal Forest Reserve"


Both presentations highlighted the diversity of bats and small mammals documented during the scientific expeditions and contributed valuable baseline information for biodiversity conservation and management of the forest reserves.


The seminar provided an important platform for sharing research outcomes, strengthening collaborations and promoting the conservation of Sarawak's rich wildlife heritage.
