SEABCD & BI Workshop 2019

One of our students from the lab had attended 2019 Southeast Asian Bat Call Library and Biodiversity Information (SEABCD & BI) Workshop that was held in Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, Selangor, Malaysia on 30th November until 1st December 2019. This workshop aimed to assemble species occurrence data and reference calls from Asia. Every participant has contributed their data to form a detailed data information for species occurrence of bats with calls taken as evidence. Our lab had collected reference calls from bats captured during our sampling in the field and built a call library of bats occurrence from Sarawak and Sabah. Our contribution to this project will be helpful as additional data for the bat biodiversity information in Southeast Asia.
