IBRC Bat Workshop 2019

We also attended a workshop organized under the 18th International Bat Research Conference (IBRC) on Paleotropical Bat Ecology and Conservation: From Science Generation to Science Dissemination from 1st to 6th August 2019 at Prince of Songkla University in Hat Yai, Thailand. This workshop aimed to equipped new generation of bat researchers with important ecological skills for the study of Paleotropical bats and to the dissemination of their researcher. This workshop helps to facilitate the development of bat ecological studies in the region and provide useful information to management agencies, decision makers and researchers. We learnt many research skills that covers various topics related to bat ecology, including bioacoustics and ecosystem services.
