The 8th Research and Development Exposition 2015: A Good Platform for The Lab
The UNIMAS R & D Expo 2015 was held 14th and 15th April 2015 and it was a great success for the lab as we won THREE medals out of THREE participations! Our lab has presented three projects which were entitled: “Value of acoustic measures in identifying cryptic bat species: A Myth or reality?”(Silver medalist) “Connecting wildlife survey to tourism through LIDAR images: Wind Cave field guide” (Bronze medalist) “Value of acoustic survey in detecting elusive Tarsier: Description of their call and genetic structure” (Bronze medalist). All these three projects are implying the research and development principal, which we are developing a platform for each project to be presentable, user-friendly and beneficial for peoples out there. Lots of thanks are dedicated to Dr Faisal Ali Anwarali Khan for his guidance and ideas that he tirelessly mentoring us not only during this R & D expo, but our whole journey as a student. Special thanks also dedicated to all the lecturers that involve directly or indirectly in helping us until we managed to win the medals at this prestigious expo. Lastly, congratulations to all the participants of this year UNIMAS R & D Expo. You guys are awesome.
