First Zoological Symposium
The First Zoological Symposium had been held on 18th November 2015 at Lecture hall, Pusat Islam Tun Abang Salahuddin, UNIMAS The aim for this symposium is to serve as the platform for the post graduate student from Department of Zoology UNIMAS to share their research findings and enable the exchange of information between the researchers. This symposium being divided by five sessions, namely: 1) Mammals 2) Insects 3) Herpetofauna 4) Avifauna 5) Wildlife disease This symposium attract 26 oral presenters and out of 26, 9 of the presenters are from our lab Congratulation to Mdm Sultana Parvin Habeebur Rahman for being awarded as the Best Oral Presenter (Testing Allopatry and Ecological Speciation Hypothesis in the Roundleaf Bats (Family: Hipposideridae) through Genetics, Morphometrics and Echolocation Datasets) Thank you to the organizing committee for their hard work in making sure this symposium is a successful one.
