3rd International Southeast Asian Bat Conference
The 3rd International Bats Conference 2015 was held from 14th - 17th August in Kuching Sarawak, organized by FRST, UNIMAS with 103 participants from eight countries. The objectives for this conference are to foster collaboration between researchers in Malaysia with researchers from countries in the region; to provide a platform for researchers to exchange ideas thus form a network of research in the field of small mammals, especially bats; and enabling researchers and stakeholders to share information and experience, and discuss the future direction of research related to all aspects of bats in scientific parallel to the current situation and the future so that it remains relevant. Ten members from our lab had participated in this conference; Five oral presentation (Mr Isham Azhar, Mdm Sultana Parvin, Mdm Ellen Mc Arthur, Ms Nurul Farah Ahmad Tahir and Ms Syafiqah Shazali) and five poster presentations (Ms Nur Mukminah Naharuddin, Mr Amsyari Morni, Mr Qhairil Shyamri Rosli, Mr Julius William Dee and Mr Rafik Murni). We are very proud and happy as three of our lab members have been awarded with Best Oral Presentation and Best Poster Presentation:
