On the month of May, the lab had organized a sampling trip to various sites in Peninsular Malaysia. The various sites were Pangkor Island, Universiti Malaya Zoological Museum, Institute of Biodoversity Lanchang, Mount Stong Kelantan, Bidong Island Terengganu, Penang National Park and lastly, Sungai Dusun Selangor. There were six lab members (Qhairil, Julius, Amsyari, Rafik, Farah and Syafikah) that joined the trip alongside one student from Universiti Malaya. Eleven students from Universiti Malaysia Terengganu joined in Bidong Island. We learned many new skills and valuable knowledge that are important to our research study. During this trip, we met new people that had experience and knowledge in various fields; for instance, sampling techniques and molecular ecology studies. We are excited and grateful for having this experience. Here are some pictures from our trip. Enjoy!
