QGIS - A Free and Open Source Geographic Information System

The technology is evolving, and it will be a waste if we did not keep up with it. That's what our lab are trying to do. We are exploring and studying accessible technology such as a software called QGIS program. We had a workshop with our undergraduate students where we sit together and taught them on how to use this software. A troubleshooting session was held afterwards where we discuss all together on issues that we did not understand on operating this software. It was a good day, full with new information and its good to have workshop as such.
