Peninsular Sampling Trip

The year 2014 had been a constructive year for all of the lab members and we continue to bring over the momentum by having our sampling at Peninsular Malaysia. The trip was carried out from 27th December 2014 until 25th January 2015. Six sampling sites were choosen which were Bukit Jambul and Moon Gate (Pulau Pinang), Wang Kelian (Perlis), Felda Chiku (Kelantan), Gombak (Selangor) and Tasik Kenyir (Terengganu). Overall, the trip had achieved its target which we managed to have some targeted species that we aimed for. Special thanks to everyone that had helped us throughout our sampling trip, especially Prof Tajuddin and Aidil from Universiti Malaysia Terengganu for help with Kenyir trip, Dr Hasmahzaiti and Prof Rosli for Gombak Research Center, Dr Lee Sim and Mr Muin for their collaboration with us at Penang of which without them, it will be impossible for us to carry out this trip.
